Paul Enea was born and raised in Alamo, California attending De La Salle High School before earning a Business Administration degree from St. Mary's College. His career in construction began in 1991 with a 13-lot subdivision project, where he was placed in a trailer to learn the full process of transforming raw land into build-ready property. This hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of grading, drainage, sewer, water, PG&E, curb and gutter, and paving.
To further develop his expertise, Paul's father arranged for him to be trained by a highly regarded custom home builder in the area. At the time, his brother was a land developer but had no builder. After completing their first four homes together, Jerry Soba, the custom builder who mentored him, told Paul, “You got this.” With that encouragement, Paul obtained his General Contractor’s License and began building independently.
He went on to develop minor subdivisions and custom homes for individual clients until the market crash of 2008–2009. In November 2011, he founded E-Builders, Inc. as an independent venture, with no partners. Since then, E-Builders has completed numerous high-end properties for individuals and select investors, operating exclusively as a General Contractor.
Notable projects include the four-lot subdivision Grand Royale Oaks off Livorna Road (10, 11, 21, and 31 Grand Royale Court), 1060 Livorna Road (later purchased by Stephen and Ayesha Curry), and another home nearby at 1113 Douglas Court.
